Libya:

We are pleased to advise our associates/clients of the issuance of the first Official Gazette numbered 1/2020 dated 23 September 2020 in Libya (opening a 3-month opposition term) after a lengthy hiatus owing to the Civil war and other problems this jurisdiction has been plagued with. It has been observed that the Gazette has been published in the chorological order and consists of trademarks filed in 2010. It is also expected that the Libyan TM Office will carry on with the regular issuance of the Official Gazette to overcome the backlog of trademarks requiring publication and registration.
