Please be advised that in accordance with Article 46 of the Trademarks Law, Gaza Trademark Office announced that the legal terms for trademarks, patents and industrial designs applications falling between May 11 and May 31, 2021 are suspended; accordingly, the legal terms will be resumed for all trademark procedures as of 1/6/2021. The suspension of work was owing to the recent military conflict this jurisdiction had faced.
The Office also announced that the opposition period of trademark applications published on March 7, 2021 has been extended to June 14, 2021 and will start issuing the registration certificates for those trademarks starting from June 15, 2021.
